Job Description: The Collaboration Capability Delivery Team seeks a bright, business-driven individual with the passion and drive to deploy technology solutions that can enhance business capabilities. The candidate will work with both the business and technical teams to identify and deliver high quality, timely content-managed applications/websites for our corporate intranet site with a focus on architecture and design for capabilities implemented in the Lotus Connections social software platform. The candidate will help deliver new capabilities to the organization through the implementation of IBM’s Websphere Portal Server 7.0 and Lotus Connections 3.0

• The Front End Web Application Developer is responsible for the functional and structural construction of the visual presentation for collaboration. The successful candidate will possess the unique skill set to deliver a presentation layer built using industry best practices, with a goal of delivering highly interactive, web 2.0 functionality.

• Conceive, Design, Develop, Test and Deploy user interactions that fully utilize the digital channel and to be a leader in web experience and design.

• Inspire creative and business team with best in class web experiences that are created with tried, trusted and tested web development techniques and practices.

• Conceive, Design, Develop, Test and Deploy best practices in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

• Conceive, Design, Develop, Test and Deploy and Maintain reusable content that is easy to understand and implement by team members.

• Partner with the Marketing, Communication, Creative and many other business teams to execute strategies and encourage change of existing interactive practices to grow and align awareness on all interactive platforms.

Required Qualifications

Required:

1. Required 3+ years’ experience working in web development and design.

2. Required detailed level of understanding of front end programming languages which include: HTML (HTML 5), CSS (CSS3), JavaScript (knowledge of object oriented JavaScript coding practices), Dojo, jQuery, Ajax.-5+ years

3. Detailed understanding of JSTL and JSP recommended – 3+ years

4. Required detailed understanding of front end performance best practices.

5. Detailed understanding of Web Service consumption via JavaScript or RIA using SOAP, REST, ATOM and RSS. Flash or Rich Internet Application (RIA) standards knowledge is a plus

3. Understands the brand and can articulate the brand message via current and future the web technologies

5. Multi-channel and multimedia experience a plus Ability to dictate simple to complex web experiences eloquently and without fault for the understanding of individuals or groups that have little or no sense of web technologies.
