JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the strategic and operational management of the company’s compensation function in support of both company and HR related goals and objectives. Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures and provides recommendations that are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends in the marketplace and company objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead the design and administration of new and existing pay programs in order to ensure the company remains competitive to the applicable market, and is able to attract, retain and motivate current and potential employees.
  • Research both strategic and tactical issues and recommend changes to compensation programs/philosophy as appropriate.  Lead implementation efforts, project management, and coordination with other teams as necessary, for any approved initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to compensation policy, procedure and administration by ensuring the team is conducting regular audits and maintaining resources related to current regulations.
  • Oversee the design, development, and administration of base pay, incentive and reward and recognition programs in support of company goals and philosophy. Oversees the sourcing and participation in salary surveys to ensure compensation objectives are achieved.
  • Lead the company’s performance management process, including goal planning and annual performance reviews.
  • Provide administration and support for the company’s equity (stock) programs.
  • Communicate and present to senior leadership Compensation programs and updates as necessary. Offer recommendations and sound advice in order to drive efficiency, equity, market competitiveness and soundness of all compensation related programs and processes.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to a team responsible for leading the administration of ServiceKing’s sales compensation plans for sales professionals and partners.
  • Oversee compensation and sales commission administration department expenditures. Manage the development and performance of staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Human Resources.  Master’s Degree preferred.
  • CCP preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible Compensation experience with at least 6-7 years of management experience.

HRIS Manager

General Summary:    Manages and oversees the company’s Human Resource Information System (HRIS) function. Responsible for the planning, development, and maintenance of all Human Resource Information Systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Manages the development, installation and administration of the human resources information system (HRIS) ADP Vantage.
•    Provides support for systems implementation and new vendors.

•    Ensures members of the department understand how to use our technology platform and serves as the internal advocate for HR systems.

•    Plans and directs project feasibility studies and business case development and links operational initiatives to appropriate management goals, solutions and capabilities.
•    Ensures the data integrity in the HRIS database and all down-stream related systems.

•    Manages and implements change initiatives by coordinating activities with IT and other departments related to the development, integrity, and maintenance of the HRIS system.
•    Ensures the HRIS data and reports are produced in a timely and efficient manner. Implementing changes as required by customers, regulatory, HR, IT or other departments
•    Manages the activities, performance management, and development of HRIS Team members. Sets standards, priorities, and schedules. Oversees personnel activities for staff members and contract personnel as necessary.

•    Serves as a liaison to other internal groups and uses considerable understanding of our technical environment to advise regarding the optimal design and availability of information

•    Researches HR technology trends and best practices.

•    Works closely with payroll to ensure the integrity weekly payroll processing.

Education:    Bachelor’s Degree in related field Relevant Work Experience:    10 or more years of related experience. 5 years of management experience. 5 years of technical HRIS management experience. Prior experience with ADP Vantage required

•    HRIS ADP Vantage
•    Microsoft Office
•    MS Windows-based PCs
•    Unix/Linux Servers
•    Oracle RBDMS
•    Microsoft SQL Server

High knowledge of HR operations and administration and process modeling tools; high understanding of technology operations, testing, migration, disaster recovery
High level of planning, time management, communication, decision-making, presentation and organization skills
High level of skill in math applications; business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources

Principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and human resources information systems
