Direct-hire Technical Recruiter Opportunity
We are looking for a friendly, thorough, detailed, persuasive person to be our Technical Recruiter. This is the perfect position for someone who has at least 5 years in progressive Technical Recruiting and is looking to grow their career and have an immediate impact on a fast-growing technology consulting business. Our Technical Recruiter will handle the full cycle of recruiting, onboarding, training programs and offboarding of all client company personnel.
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL DEMONSTRATE
- Passion for recruiting and finding the right people for awesome opportunities
- Comfortable with high volume of emails, phone calls, and searching to build a strong candidate pipeline.
- Organized and methodical in maintaining candidates and recruitment steps in Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Collaborative approach to reach hiring managers’ goals and objectives.
- The ability to be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to “roll up your sleeves”
- Strong internal and external customer service focus
- The ability to manage multiple priorities
- A hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the “pulse” of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Locate, attract, and select qualified IT candidates (FTE’s & subcontractors) for company Consultant positions
- Building a pipeline of candidates daily
- Keep recruiting pipeline current in applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Update and post job openings using job boards and ATS
- Write job descriptions and job ads for posting
- Qualify and interview candidates (full life cycle)
- Hire the Right People for the Right Seats (RPRS) while leveraging the right processes and tools
- Educate candidates on Client Company Culture, Values, and Opportunities
- Guide candidates throughout the placement and post placement process; on/off-boarding
- Collaborate with and assist hiring managers in all realms of recruitment needs
- Handle all logistics of interviews (e.g. scheduling, travel, documents, etc)
- Manage employee engagement
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Resume that shows steady progression in Technical Recruiting for the last 5 years
- Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment
- Effective in person, phone, and written communication skills
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Held Recruiting positions within professional services consulting environment
- IT / Technical Recruiting experience
- Recruiting for any/all of the following:
- JDE / JD Edwards Functional & Technical Consultants
- IBM Middleware (IBM App Connec tPro, IBM DataPower, IIB, and IBM Bluemix Resources, IBM Cloud Paks, Kubernetes)
- Cloud (AWS, IBM, Oracle, Red Hat) Developers, DevOps Engineers, Architects
- IBM Hardware & Infrastructure Consultants
- Experience using various candidate tracking systems and job boards
- Experience successfully conducting onboarding and offboarding processes
