Contract-to-hire Telecom Provisioning Analyst Opportunity in Addison, TX

 

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for all aspects of Telecom provisioning, compliance and analysis across the enterprise.  This individual will provide technical telecom expertise across a broad range of platforms and technologies and as such must have a broad range of technical knowledge and experience.  This position is responsible for coordinating telecom budgeting process, provisioning and scheduling of telephony systems, reconciling and auditing internal telecom invoices and engaging with carriers to address any deficiencies.

 

Ensures the delivery of exceptional customer service by insuring company telephony systems, telecom  solutions, and Service Level Agreements are properly delivered or adhered to.  Implementing policies, procedures, and training that will help all Concentra Colleagues insure proper use of company telephony assets.   This individual will insure that these things are done while putting all customers (internal and external) first and displaying:

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for all aspects of security operations:

·         Assist with Telecom Audits and analysis

·         Assist coordinating budgeting process and scheduling for new phone systems

·         Assist coordinating equipment break/fixes resolution from a budgetary and ordering perspective

·         Order POTS lines and coordinates alarm and fax lines for medical centers

·         Coordinates LD codes assignments and scheduling

·         Assist with reviews and follows up with carriers regarding billing issues

·         Assist with reviews of all telecom related bills/expenses and invoices

·         Work closely with remote lead technicians during turn-ups and moves.

·         Provision orders to telecom carriers for access and local services

·         Reconciles and audits internal telecom bills for errors and disputes these errors with the carriers

·         Make sure that Service Level Agreements are adhered to by the carriers and constantly tracks and recommends new processes to rectify issues

SCOPE MEASURES:

Some people management may be required.

Project management of Telecom initiatives is required.

 

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

LIST THE MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR CREDENTIALS REQUIRED:

 

Bachelors Degree preferred or related professional experience

 

JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE:

·         5+ years of telecom auditing and analysis experience in supporting telephony systems

·         Proven ability to communicate effectively to executive management required

·         5+ years experience in coordinating telecom equipment break/fix resolution

·         Understanding of telephony systems and the steps required for troubleshooting purposes

·         Working knowledge of Nortel BCMs and Avaya telephony systems

·         Previous experience in project managing carriers and telephony system providers to deliver solutions in a timely manner

Our Client is looking for a JD Edwards Programmer Analyst knowledgeable in a large JDE Development Environment. Responsibilities

*Managing and maintaining various, complex production and non-production databases.

* Responsible for standards and design of physical data storage, maintenance, access, and security administration.

* Optimizing database access and allocating/re-allocating database resources for optimum configuration, database performance and cost.

* Installing, upgrading, refreshing and maintaining all database environments.

* Responsible for the day to day database administrative tasks, such as: proactive monitoring, error checking, performance tuning, trouble-shooting, back-up and recovery.

* Collaborating with project teams to set up database, DB interface, and production set-up and configuration.

* Managing user security and access to databases to provide controlled access environment.

* Investigating, reviewing, applying and testing all patches and bug fixes in the database environment and providing consultation on patch management, custom interface design and operational implementation.

* Interacting with developers and programmers in order to design/review programs, custom interfaces and queries according to standards.

* Utilizing data management tools such as SSIS, SSAS, DTS, and SSRS

* Will be required to be on an on-call rotation

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree preferred.

* 5 to 7+ years’ experience of Database Administration, Database Design, Performance Analysis, and Production Support

* Preferred industry related certifications

This is 6 Month Contract and a CCNP or CCVP is preferred

POSITION SCOPE:

Candidate will perform and monitor all Video Telecommunication activities remotely for all clients facilities. The candidate shall provide Cisco VOIP support for approximately 60 US offices and where VTC services are offered. The candidate will have experience in troubleshooting voice and data networks. A thorough understanding of VoIP, networking and security protocols; experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting; solid technical skills coupled with a can-do-it attitude and customer handling skills. Candidate will be receiving customer trouble tickets electronically and follow up with customers, resolve issues, replicate more complicated issues to customers, provide status to customers, and document problems and resolutions. This position requires certain flexibility and a drive to learn new skills.

Provide assistance to clients VTC users with regards to current systems deployed.

Provide an assist on site personnel with setup, troubleshooting, and repairing of deployed systems.

Control the pre-reservation of VTC resources to ensure system access to VTC services.

Provide daily oversight of the hardware and software availability of the systems identified.

Manage the set up to include reconfiguration of the VTC user interface to complete site to multi-site calling.

Other duties may be assigned to meet operational needs.

Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP)

3. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In addition to the above VTC support the Tech Support Engineer will be responsible for setting up or troubleshooting VoIP installations and equipment.

Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction

Serve as initial escalation point for technical support issues (Tier 1)

Troubleshoot and report VoIP performance issues

Responsible for resolving customer requests/issues in a timely manner

Responsible for reviewing, analyzing and evaluating possible trends with regard to common system failures or outages and communicating these to the IT manager

Enjoy inbound phone calls to resolve tech support issues for Resellers learning Open Standards based VoIP solutions.

Track open trouble tickets and find resolution for issues.

Troubleshoots VoIP issues utilizing packet capture tools and VoIP server logs

Directly work with manufacturers of VoIP equipment forwarding issues

Implement HPCMO technical standard practice, and maintains Chenega related activity calendars and policy / procedure documentation.

Work in conjunction with 2nd & 3rd tier support specialist.

Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and take direction from other team members

4. EXPERIENCE:

Working knowledge of SIP and/or H.323, and TCP/IP protocols

Working knowledge of IP networking and security (CCNA or other network certification would be a plus)

Familiarity with installing and configuring Cisco Call Manager 6.x or higher

Familiarity with Audio/Video Codecs with Cisco or similar Gateways

2+ years experience deploying and/or testing VoIP and VTC systems or solutions

2+ years experience in telecommunications

2+ years isolating and repairing VoIP system faults/configurations and/or determining interoperability issues

Experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers and IP routing, and switches

Familiarity with VoIP devices, i.e. Cisco 7900 series, IP Communicator, ATA devices, and CUVA

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and customer service skills

Good written and verbal communication skills in English

5. CERTIFICATIONS: CCNP or CCVP (preferred)

Contract Senior JDE Business Analyst

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

a. Participates in ERP and related system development lifecycle

Responsible for system development deliverables

Defines, creates and communicates appropriate process documents such as scope document, project plan, configuration document, QA plan, and training plan.

Implements and maintains key global system (ERP) setup

Participates in data conversion processes where necessary

Participates in QA process

Assists implementation teams with training, testing, and cutover support

b. Participates in change control process

Defines, creates and communicates change requests and functional specs for enhancement requirements such as reports, interfaces and interactive applications.

Works with senior management, as well as functional users

Communicates requirements to Programmer team

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

a. Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or BA with equivalent work experience

b. Minimum 5 years experience in JDE EnterpriseOne Financial configuration

c. Proven ability to deliver project with minimum external guidance

d. Specific knowledge of JDE G/L Financial suite applications, A/P applications, Inventory, Costing Manufacturing and Procure to Pay applications. Knowledge of Fixed assets applications a plus.
