Direct-hire Help Desk Manager Opportunity in Dallas, TX

Duties Include:
•    Manage a team of support personnel who troubleshoot IT issues
•    Direct, motivate, and develop the IT staff to maximize their individual contribution to the team and the company
•    Implement policies and procedures
•    Ensure maximum resolution in minimum amount of time
•    Ticketing of all incoming issues via Help Desk management software
•    Ordering and provisioning hardware, software, and supplies for client requests and projects
•    Collaborate with vendors to ensure delivery of materials
•    Minor support and troubleshooting of hardware including laptops, desktops, printers, MFPs, fax machines, iPads, Droids, iPhones
•    Entering and updating of issues in Knowledge Base
•    Support and troubleshooting of issues involving XP and Microsoft Office 2003/2007/2010 (Word, Excel, Outlook), QuickBooks, and other administrative applications
•    Scheduling technical resources for client visits
•    Report Help Desk metrics to owner
•    PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT resolution of incoming calls according to support agreement guidelines

Position Requires:

•    Empathetic technical support that always puts the customer first
•    Not only a knack for, but the bravery to resolve problems immediately
•    Occasional offsite visits at our client locations – must have a valid Texas driver’s license – company vehicles are provided for these support calls
•    Physical ability to bend, sit for extended periods of time, and lift and carry hardware including: laptops, desktops, monitors, and servers
