Network Operations Support
This job will provide services to customers in the Network and Security portfolio to include both physical device installation, troubleshooting, and configuration as well as network assessment or audit functions.
Responsibilities:
Basic troubleshooting and configuration skills for LAN, WAN, and Wireless in a fairly large environment.
Advanced level skills with Cisco Wireless Access Points and Controllers and the ability to perform a survey, install, troubleshoot and operate with minimal assistance.
Responsible for reacting to both telephone reported issues and monitoring platform reported issues.
Skills with network protocols.
Additional Responsibilities:
This position will also be responsible for managing, installation and operating our internal network and handling any tickets opened by customers in the hosting environment.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred

5-7 years of working experience in the network field

Basic Purpose: The primary purpose of these positions are:
This position is responsible for developing sales opportunities, working with end-user prospects to develop solutions to fulfill their IT needs for their particular organization. As necessary, must work closely with manufacturer sales reps and assist marketing in driving attendance to local events. · Final responsibility for customer proposals through configuration and quote generation

Undergraduate degree, preferably in computer science or marketing
Experience:
Experience in prospecting, managing complex sell cycles, customer relationship management, and selling technology-based solutions. Minimum of three years field sales experience in high-tech industry required.

Responsibilities
*Managing and maintaining various, complex production and non-production databases.
* Responsible for standards and design of physical data storage, maintenance, access, and security administration.
* Optimizing database access and allocating/re-allocating database resources for optimum configuration, database performance and cost.
* Installing, upgrading, refreshing and maintaining all database environments.
* Responsible for the day to day database administrative tasks, such as: proactive monitoring, error checking, performance tuning, trouble-shooting, back-up and recovery.
* Collaborating with project teams to set up database, DB interface, and production set-up and configuration.
* Managing user security and access to databases to provide controlled access environment.
* Investigating, reviewing, applying and testing all patches and bug fixes in the database environment and providing consultation on patch management, custom interface design and operational implementation.
* Interacting with developers and programmers in order to design/review programs, custom interfaces and queries according to standards.
* Utilizing data management tools such as SSIS, SSAS, DTS, and SSRS
* Will be required to be on an on-call rotation
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree preferred.
* 5 to 7+ years’ experience of Database Administration, Database Design, Performance Analysis, and Production Support
* Preferred industry related certifications
* Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2000/2005 or greater, 2005+ preferred
* Expert knowledge in installation, backup, and restoring of SQL databases
* Strong database administration skills with an emphasis on enterprise scale architecture
* Expert knowledge of database security methodologies. Including SQL security, mixed security, server roles, and database roles

10 Advanced level skills with Infrastructure concepts regarding DHCP, DNS, ISP uplinks and peering, Multicast, VoIP planning and a basic understanding of Microsoft Active Directory.

Responsibilities:
•End user support of PeopleSoft Financials/Supply Chain version 9.0 (primary areas GL, AP, AR, BI, ePro, AM, Projects, Contracts, PS/Query, and nVision Reporting)
•Responsible for supporting key financial processes such as consolidations, multi-currency processing (revaluation, translation, equitization, re-measurement), Eliminations, Year-End/Month-end close, Combo edit rules, spreadsheet journal imports, ledger loads, and interunit transactions
•Support functional end users and provide day to day production support.
•Design and construct reports and queries to facilitate analysis/review of financials.
•Work with PeopleSoft technical and functional resources to troubleshoot issues on a daily basis.
•Responsible for documenting and translating business requirements into functional specifications.
•Responsible for interpretation of functional specifications to develop technical specifications.
•Assist with SOX controls and compliance
•Modifies configuration to align with changing business requirements
•Develops and executes test plans as appropriate
•Provide support to other projects that interface with PeopleSoft
•Provide PeopleSoft training for end users
•Support new initiatives that require configuration setup/ changes
Required skills:
•7+ years of hands-on experience providing functional support of PeopleSoft Financials V8.x or higher, 9.x preferred.
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Information Systems with a minor in Computer Information Systems, Accounting or equivalent
•Good understanding of PeopleSoft Upgrade methodology and ability to identify relevant maintenance packs that need to be deployed.
•Experience with PeopleSoft reporting tools: Crystal, nVision, OLAP cubes, and PS/Query.
•Strong understanding of Financial Reporting
Preferred skills:
•Hyperion Essbase, HFM, and HFR Reporting experience
•EXCEL VBA, Pivot tables, and vlookups.
•Good knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, XBRL, and FASB regulations.
•Experience with global statutory configuration and processing

Your initial responsibility will include assisting the sales team in the identification of opportunities based upon the Cognos solutions and developing those identified opportunities into qualified opportunities. Additionally, you will support the sales team in developing and presenting sound solutions that meet/exceed client expectations in large account settings. This will also include the development of a total solution consisting of integrating IBM Cognos products and services to meet the client’s needs.
In so doing, you must demonstrate a clear understanding of the customers’ business, organization, culture and the compelling reasons to act. You will need to anticipate, develop and define innovative services solutions that match the clients and IBMs tactical and strategic requirements. You will work closely with the sales team to meet and exceed company revenue targets, and assist prospects with solution qualification. This role will also assist with responses to RFIs, preparation of proposals and presentation of solutions to clients. Perform tailored on-site solution/product demonstrations.
This individual must be an excellent communicator, able to command the respect of both business-oriented and technically-oriented clients and colleagues. This position will require travel anywhere up to 50% of the time.
General Business Duties and Responsibilities
· Possess and continue to build upon, in-depth knowledge of Cognos competitive products, and Business Intelligence industry trends.
· Possess and continue to build an understanding of, and increased responsibilities for tasks associated with the sales cycle and customer anchoring process.
· Execute project management tasks and activities. Develop successful implementation plans and lead customers through them.
· Be actively involved during initial project scope activities.
· Investigate new Cognos products and features and package them into marketable entities.
· Report client status and personal activities according to branch and corporate standards.
· Coordinate technical training for new company sales personnel
· Understand and explain the features and benefits of Cognos products.
· Compare and explain product features to those of the leading competitors.
· Effectively demonstrate the functionality of Cognos Business Intelligence and/or FPM products.
· Be proficient in demonstration skills and be able to show all Cognos Analytic products and articulate features, functions and benefits with a solutions sales approach.
· Integrate prospect requirements with Cognos Analytic products.
· Clearly communicate pertinent and significant information to appropriate team members.
· Participate as key resource in Proof of Concept (PoC) evaluations
· Conduct successful technical audit meetings with customers to clarify their production environment requirements.
· Contact clients regularly in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Ensure proposed solutions are achievable, profitable and realistic given client requirements.
· Provide direct high-level technical support to customers as required occasionally.
· Portray a professional image and present our company as a service-oriented, customer-centric organization.
Job Qualifications
· College degree or equivalent with preferred background in Computer Science.
· Two plus years experience working to support business applications and/or application development; including working with CRM, ERP, BPM, EIM solutions.
· Experience working with Business Intelligence solutions, including: Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, Microstrategy, Brio or Open Source solutions.
· Willingness to travel within sales territory.
· Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
· Superiority with Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint presentations and remote demonstration software.
· Good knowledge of the middle and back office roles and how they are designed to accommodate risk and regulation.
· Experience in Working comfortably with high-level decision-makers within the Client environment including but not limited to CEO, CIO, and other policy-level executives.
· Analytical and problem-solving mind-set and experience in multi-dimensional (OLAP) analysis and modeling.
· Enthusiastic entrepreneurial spirit while working in a team environment.
· Good written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
· At least 3 years experience in developing reports, dashboards and cubes
· At least 3 years experience in the understanding of BI/Data warehouse concepts, and/or financial performance management concepts.
· At least 2 years experience in Cognos 10 Business Intelligence and/or Cognos Performance Management
· At least 3 years experience in the implementation of reporting tools projects (Cognos, SAS, Microstrategy, etc)
· Knowledge of management accounting principles (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements), Financial Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting experience is desirable with emphasis on business knowledge and background.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server 2008, IBM DB2 UDB 9.5, Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Oracle 11g, Microsoft Active Directory Server 2008, IIS, Internet Explorer 8, Microsoft .NET, Java SE Runtime Environment (JRE), VMware Workstation 7.1.5, Windows Microsoft Office 2007, JRE, and Apache Tomcat
· Mobility solutions experience (device manufacturers; network providers; mobile network standards; on device applications; mobile web browser applications; SMS applications)

Application Packager Opportunity in Fort Worth, TX
Contract Period: 3 – 8 Months
· Prior application packaging experience using Wise or InstallShield
· Good overall knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems (Windows 7 preferred) and how software interacts with them
· In depth knowledge of MSI creation and customization via snapshot repackage and use of transforms
· In depth knowledge of VBscript
