Contract Data Automation and Management Opportunity in Dallas, TX
Test Data Management Specialist will have experience working with data warehouses and/or data marts, as well as Data Management experience to contribute to solutions for project teams. Specializations may include data modeling, ETL, data architecture, master data management, metadata management, and/or data governance. Working with project teams, they design, develop and deliver innovative technology solutions that drive high performance. This individual will build, test, install and maintain data across a variety of environments and projects, working with leading enterprise applications such as PeopleSoft, Oracle and Microsoft or with custom-built applications.
Responsibilities
- Builds framework for all aspects of test data and strategy needs with respect to data sub setting, test data generation and automation, data masking and testing methodology to align with or define relevant new TDM Strategy
- A thorough understanding of functional applications’ business process information, related data flow.
- Ability to update/develop and maintain ETL scripts as required.
- Ability to work with a mix of technologies (Oracle, MS SQL, IBM Mainframe, etc.) and Java, Informatica, ETL jobs, different File formats (XML/MISMO/CLDF/EDF), etc.
- Collaborates with application SMEs and project teams in respective application areas to understand and leverage current processes; address gaps where additional transformation may be needed
- Leads the analysis of test data requests and automation of test data. Defines the test data characteristics and reviews with requestor.
- Creates and validates test data within the TDM framework for all phases of testing
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years Test Data Management or equivalent (SQL, ETL, Reporting or database development)
- Minimum 2 years Data Technology experience to include Enterprise Data Management (for example, Data Modeling, Data Governance, Master Data Management, Meta Data Management, Data Architecture, or Data Warehouse, ETL)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of data models and entity relationship diagrams
- Knowledge and experience in data masking methodologies
- Data modeling or design experience; Analytics or Data Mining
- Knowledge of commercial TDM toolset – i.e. Informatica TDM, Grid Tools or Oracle Test Data Management Pack
- Full life cycle Development; Integration Data Hubs
- “Industry” Data Models (i.e., IBM, Teradata, ADRM)
- Data Modeling and Data Administration (above and beyond ETL) for multi-dimensional Data Warehouses using Inmon, Hammergren, and /or Kimball methodologies. Data modeling background to include constructing database normalization; utilizing data modeling tools to record, update, reverse engineer and generate DDL; creating logical and physical data models for current and proposed states; turning application designs into data model specifications; understanding data storage requirements and estimate database growth; designing OLAP and reporting tool data model requirements.
- Data Quality tools (i.e., Informatica, Trillium, IBM QualityStage, SAS/DataFlux)
- Master Data Management: Business process design for managing Master Data throughout the lifecycle, including data quality, metadata and workflow technologies; Implementation experience on any one of the following technologies: IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management Server, IBM InfoSphere Product Information Management, Informatica MDM, Oracle Product Hub, Oracle Customer Hub, TIBCO Collaborative Information Manager,
- Business Intelligence Competency Centers (BICC)
- Platforms (IBM, Oracle, Informatica, GoldenGate)
