The Role:

Part of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to design, implement & maintain the next generation of integration system(s) required for client company. The individual will be a senior member of an agile software development program helping to shape our integration environment by collaborating with key IT and business stakeholders. The individual will need to have expertise to implement & maintain a scalable modern integration system, connecting multiple internal and external systems on a cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure.     Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Complete the monthly financial close process including the reports to be provided to internal and external constituents.
    • Responsible for the completion of the annual 3rd party Audit and Tax filings
    • Provide MDA and Variance Analysis reports across the organization comparing performance to Budget and prior period performance including tracking performance against established budgets or goals on financial and non-financial metrics
    • Review and assist in the management of cost controls across departments and other key non-payroll cost categories in manufacturing and store functions
    • Lead the integration of acquired business(es) into the client’s operating systems including accounting, treasury, tax, revenue cycle, AP systems, etc.
    • Assist in the development of the annual Budget and supporting Forecasts over the course of a year including integrating the Budget into the accounting system for better control and reporting to ensure communication regarding business plans and budgets across all functions and corporate groups for full transparency
    • Maintain Chart of Accounts and general ledger, A/P, A/R, payroll and Fixed Asset registers
    • Ensure consistent application of GAAP and compliance with all applicable laws
    • Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments
    • Responsible for the structure, process and controls in place for client’s treasury to ensure compliance and security.
    • Assist in capex returns analysis and contractual arrangements as to be provided for approval
    • Ensure compliance with state and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
    • Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
    • Represent the company externally, government agencies, external companies, and the general public.
    • Assist in implementing accounting policies and procedures to ensure all financial transactions are executed according to GAAP principles
    • Assess and optimize the accounting department structure and streamline processes to increase efficiency while establishing/maintaining an effective internal control structure

     

    Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of Accounting experience in healthcare, retail and/or platform build businesses
    • Big Four / National Accounting firm experience preferred
    • Previous experience work with a private equity firm is beneficial
    • Bachelors or MBA with a concentration in Accounting
    • High level of detail and analytical skills to identify opportunities and variances
    • Track-record of developing accurate budgets, forecasts and managing month end close

              Direct-hire Senior Financial Analyst Opportunity with Great Company in Frisco, TX

              What you will be doing

              Under general direction of the Finance Manager and Sr. Director, performs various financial analyses a business unit of the client company, including, but not limited to, pricing and strategic analysis, month-end and quarter-end variance analysis, and strategic project support.. Provides financial reporting to management to ensure revenues and expenses are monitored and operational issues are highlighted and addressed.

               

              Analyzes monthly financial statements and operating expenses.

              Prepares monthly financial analysis and reports, including monthly forecast and progress to budget updates

              Directly supports Business Development team of ICS, including prospective client pricing analysis and strategic support.

              Analyzes gross margin components on a monthly basis and reports significant variances.

              Generates ad hoc analysis reports as needed.

              Contributes to monthly, quarterly and annual forecast and budget updates, including analysis and messaging strategy.

              Performs related duties as assigned.

               

              What your background should look like (minimum qualifications)

              Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year Bachelor’s Degree program, . Normally requires a minimum of four (4) to six (6) years directly related and progressively responsible experience. Experience with Baan General Ledger System and Hyperion is a plus. MBA preferred.

              Knowledge of various financial management areas such as financial statement analysis, business law, budget development, productivity and profitability analysis.

              Understanding of ABC policies, philosophy, goals and objectives to affect financial oversight in protecting the company’s assets.

              Working knowledge of accounting and planning software packages.

              Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

              Strong interpersonal skills

              Strong mathematical and analytical skills

              Strong organizational skills; attention to detail

              Ability to follow and interpret profit and loss statements, along with the balance sheet

              Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices

              Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
