Basic Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is:

Our client, a full-service VAR, selling hw/sw/maintenance and professional services, including managed services, needs 2 sales reps in the Nashville area.  This position is responsible for developing sales opportunities, working with end-user prospects to develop solutions to fulfill their IT needs for their particular organization.  As necessary, must work closely with manufacturer sales reps and assist marketing in driving attendance to local events.  Must be responsible for developing relationships and appropriate pipeline to achieve required results.

Experience:       

Experience in prospecting, managing complex sell cycles, customer relationship management, and selling technology-based solutions. Minimum of three years field sales experience in high-tech industry required.

               

Specialized knowledge

Sales experience in Storage, Servers, Virtualization and Networking, etc.     

– experience in the reseller space.. Will take experience as a major manufacturer rep, like EMC, HP, Cisco, or other mfg in this infrastructure segment.- at least 5 years experience working customers in this territory.

 

Rep’s territory would be Nashville and surrounding area, with some deals/leads from GA and MS, possibly KY.

Would sell infrastructure (the hw/sw/maintenance plus the services), within the security, networking, and server/storage spaces, hw/sw/maintenance.  Company also has managed service offerings, and other offerings to push out to customers.We have full support staff for Reps, which includes Sales Engineers, a project management layer for services, and over 180 professional certifications with engineering team.   Also has inside sales support to develop quotes/proposals.

          • Minimum seven (7) + years SAP working knowledge, production support, and configuration experience with SAP P2P modules including Materials Management, Purchase Reqs and Purchase Orders, Vendor & Plant maintenance, and Accounts Payable required.  SAP workflow and ABAP training, experience, or certification desired.  Experience in advanced SAP technologies like Fiori, Personas, HANA and Ariba a plus.
          • Experience using Catalog Management, E-Procurement Suites, Cloud Computing and is familiar with other P2P Tools.
          • Provides leadership and mentoring to team members
          • Experienced participating on cross-functional, major project initiatives and has good integration experience on other modules within SAP.
          • Experience with supporting different types of implementations including:  enhancement/support projects, new development projects and third party package software
          • Must have strong PC skills and working knowledge with Microsoft Office products, SharePoint and tracking software.
