The ideal candidate for this position must be highly organized and process driven and have demonstrated broad technical knowledge, management discipline, strong leadership and organization skills, creativity and technical vision in developing, implementing, and troubleshooting distributed applications on various platforms. We’re looking for someone with a fiery passion for software development, not just another 9 to 5er. Primary Responsibilities:

Provide analysis, custom code development, and troubleshooting in the design, configuration, testing, and production support of one or more client technical solutions

Gather and document technical requirements, code specifications, test plans/results, and any other deliverables required by the project

Assume hands-on project implementation duties (design, coding, testing) in all phases of project implementation

Report status of assigned responsibilities

Qualifications:

Experience in Development and/or Production Support for distributed applications

Demonstrate knowledge in one or more development languages/approaches such as .Net and JavaScript

Code and unit test using .Net in the RAD (Rational Application Development) environment

SQL knowledge

Experience with incremental software development lifecycles, such as Rational Unified Process (RUP)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong technical background and analytical skills

Flexible, proactive, and self-motivated with a proven ability to drive technical troubleshooting efforts

Professional maturity in dealing with all levels of management and staff

BS or MS in Computer Science or related fields

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Knowledge of the banking industry desired

Ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities and switch gears

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to communicate effectively with internal as well as external groups at varying levels of business and technical knowledge

Leadership abilities to drive the projects and deliver with quality

Ability to serve as an Architect and have the vision to set the architectural direction

Self-motivated and team player

Project management abilities

7-10 years of relevant job experience

Experience with Agile and LEAN is a plus

Key Skills

· Previous rock star programming skills. We’re talking 4 to 6 years, roughly, in the .NET world using C#.

· Know SQL. We use SQL Server 2005.

· Building apps for the web. We focus on our website code, but we also have some in house windows applications. Be comfortable with both!

· JavaScript and related web technologies.

· Software architecting experience. Show us some examples of things you’ve built!

· Highly iterative, agile and/or rational development. You’re going to be interacting with the end users here, no “heads down” programming!

· A solid history of managing teams.

· You’ve got to be good at diagramming and documentation. If you can’t draw a simple ERD, this isn’t the place for you.

Bonuses

· jQuery (or other JavaScript library) and AJAX style programming

· Service Orientated Architecture (SOA)

· WebMethods integration server

· SQL Server Reporting services

· Experience in the printing industry
